It’s interesting because many people think depression is sadness. But in my opinion it’s not. It’s the feeling of constant emptiness. I have been suffering from depression for many years now. I am in therapy since spring 2018. At this time I just couldn't get in touch with my feelings anymore. I often mistook my depression for my character. It was a blurry mess and very confusing. Regularly talking to someone helped me a lot. I don't think there is a cure in my mental illness but I am learning how to deal with certain situations and behaviors and I definitely think there is a better life waiting for me! (I am sorry for mistakes in writing or grammar.)
