I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety basically my whole life. Growing up my parents never vocalized to me or my siblings about communicating our emotions. It wasn’t until high school when I vented to my friends parent and she showed up to my school because she was afraid for my life. Fast forward to now I’m in college, and have been in therapy for a couple of years now. During the pandemic I’ve grown and learned so much about mental health, from both my therapist and doctors/therapist social media! There were times where I would hit a low low point in my life and I got baker acted, but there were also times were I felt the happiest ever and I couldn’t stop smiling. I have come to terms that I will have bad days, but I’ll also have good days because they come in waves. We aren’t our depression or our anxiety! We are strong and beautiful❤️
