One thing I have learned is that mental illness doesn't discriminate. You can be any age or from any walk of life to be affected. I have dealt with depression, anxiety, and anorexia in my short fifteen years.

Thankfully, unlike many who share my same experiences, I have been able to receive treatment and an outpouring of support from those around me. I have learned that things get better when you decide that the monster in your head is not as powerful as your will and strength to keep going.
